The vendor acquired this Morris Cowley, registered in March 1928, in 2003 and has since carried out work such as having the clutch plate re‑corked (in 2004) and the carburettor reconditioned (in 2021). The 1465cc car shows 48,154 miles on its odometer ‑ although its cable isn’t connected ‑ and two previous registered keepers are showing on the V5C, although the buff log book is present and shows at four owners through to the 1960s.
The history folder includes the V5C, buff logbook, hand‑written starting instructions and and dating information from the Bullnose Morris Club. There’s a book on A Guide to the Maintenance of the Bullnose & Flatnose Morris 1920‑31 by Peter Seymour as well as a one on Morris Bullnose & Flatnose Power Units by the same author, plus a collection of Bullnose Morris Club magazines. The MoT certificates date from 1990, 1991, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2001 and 2002; as an historic vehicle, the Cowley no longer requires annual testing.
