To the best of the vendor’s knowledge, this Bantam D1 spent 35 years in a conservatory after being restored, so has seen very little use. He tells us that it has recently had a full service and is all in running order, with a new ignition spark system.
The bike was registered in May 1952 and has just five miles showing on its odometer. It comes with its V5C, BSA Owners’ Club dating certificate, a selection of BSA Bantam Club magazines and various recent bills plus a type‑written sheet of additions since the original restoration, adding up to £401. They include rear brake shoes, carburettor repair kit, fishtail exhaust and rewire by Catmando Services. There’s a one sheet period brochure as well.
