Our honest and characterful Ford Anglia is the icon of practical classics. Known for its simple mechanics and affordability, the Ford Anglia has always been a great first classic. With an original Prime & Cowles Halesworth emblem found on the inside of the passenger door, we have good reason to think that this Ford has spent much of its life in Suffolk. The previous owner was part of the East Anglian Practical Classics club and the vehicle has become a well-recognised part of the local classic car community, making it somewhat of a local legend.
Ford Anglia 100E’s were manufactured between 1953 and 1959, our 1959 model comes from the later batch of Anglia’s with its improved facelift, larger rear window, larger taillights and chrome bumpers which increased its popularity. The 3 speed gearbox and 1172cc engine makes for a quaint drive and is well suited to cruising down the country lanes.
Our 1959 Ford Anglia 100E with charming patina from a life of being well loved and well driven is ready to be enjoyed by a new keeper. The interior trim is pristine and incredibly well presented.
