Description

Officially known as the Rover 3-litre due to its straight-six, 2,995cc engine, the P5 was first introduced in 1958. The P5 signalled a big jump forwards for the Rover brand in terms of technology, style, and engineering. Ultimately, it spanned 4 generations and stayed in production until 1973.

The MKII came in 1962 and featured an increase of 14bhp and improved suspension. The coupe version (like ours) arrived later that year too. This offered a lower roofline while still maintaining all 4 doors.

Used as official vehicles by the British government throughout the 1970s, and loved by many, the Rover P5 is considered by some as the best British car ever produced. Even the late Queen Elizabeth owned a P5.

Our 1964 Rover P5 Coupe is a great example of the P5 model. Finished in Grey with a complimentary grey interior, it has covered 69,000 miles and has undergone a Bridge Classic Cars workshop inspection.

The lucky winner of our P5 Coupe will get a practical, stylish, and highly sought-after classic car and we will be sorry to see it leave us.
