The classic Morgan. Built in the picturesque Malvern Hills deep in the heart of Worcestershire, this truly British sports car has been a favourite of petrolheads across the globe since the 1940s with the introduction of the now iconic 4/4 model.
It’s ash body frame and hand formed bodywork takes you back to a time of craftsmanship and skill, which we’re delighted to say carry on to this day in the Morgan factory. Now Bridge Classic Cars Competitions want to give you the chance of winning one of these truly stunning, quintessentially British sports cars with our 1969 Morgan 4/4 1600.
The car has 2 former keepers in its life, who completely overhauled the car in 1988 with a new ash frame, new wings and a full repaint in the glorious shade of dark blue you see it in today. The interior of the 4/4 was also sent away to be retrimmed at the same time as evidenced in the cars history file.
10 years later in 1998, the engine also went through an overhaul at the same specialist with new thermostat, water pump and other parts all fitted to the 1600cc Kent engine. The car currently shows just 87287 miles.
Whilst at our Suffolk HQ, the cars signature wire wheels were removed and refinished in glorious silver as opposed to the deep red wheels the car originally had.
