Forming part of Audi’s 100 series line-up, the Coupe S is a sleek and stylish classic car with the dependability and engineering Audi is known for.
This hard-to-find classic sports car is one of approximately 10 registered examples left on the road in the UK. Finished in Turquoise Metallic with a complementary green interior, our 1973 Audi 100 Coupe S looks as good as it drives.
The original 100 series was hugely successful for Audi so in 1970 its engineers made a coupe version and the 100 S was born. The 100 Coupe S had the same front fascia with double headlights as its four-door sibling while its raked windshield and sloped roofline were new. With wood trims and a four-dial layout on the instrument panel, the interior is a comfortable and stylish place to be.
The 1.9-litre, inline four-cylinder engine has a side-mounted radiator meaning the front overhang is shorter, creating beautifully proportioned styling.
Its previous owner has made some improvements to the paint as well as taking the underside of the car back to bare metal, removing the underseal, and applying anti-rust primer. The wings were also repaired and repainted around 2 years ago to resolve a previous repair that didn’t meet the former owner’s high standards.
Lots of paperwork comes with the car including the original purchase invoice, a letter from the dealer informing the first owner that their car was ready, period photos, and the original Audi sales catalogue, instruction manuals, original import papers, and service book.
