When you think of a British sports car you’re probably thinking of a lightweight, nimble, rear-wheel drive 2-door with handsome styling and useable performance. When TVR was founded, this is exactly what the man behind the name, Trevor Wilkinson, would envision when he created his first sports cars in the early 1950s.
Bridge Classic Cars Competitions is giving you the chance to get behind the wheel of a true British sports car with our 1976 TVR 2500M.
This particular car has a special place in TVR history – According to the cars history file, SLL 323R was the 1976 British Motor Show car and took pride of place on the TVR stand as a wonderful example of the brands DNA.
Finished in Dark Green with a tan vinyl top, complete with sun roof, and a tan leather interior our 1976 TVR 2500M has got the classic style to match its automotive heritage.
Fitted with a 2.5-litre inline-six engine, and 4-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. Our 2500M went through a recommission after it was uncovered from a barn in 2012 (believed to have laid dormant since 1992) under the car of a previous owner as documented in the car’s history file.
Our 1976 TVR 2500M beautifully shows off the bespoke nature of the marque and celebrates the handmade nature of British motoring history.
