The LE in MGB GT LE stands for Limited Edition, so you know you’re getting a very special vehicle with this classic car. With only 580 being made, this is your opportunity to own a rare piece of motoring history.
While our MGB may look very similar to another that was given away previously – it’s even from the same year (1981), this is actually a different vehicle. MGB LEs were made to the same specifications which is why you might be experiencing a little bit of déjà vu.
The MGB GT first appeared in 1965 and our 1981 MGB GT LE was one of the very last built at the Abingdon factory before its closure and it has now found its way to us. It has a 4-speed manual gearbox with overdrive (as expected in all MGB GT LE’s) and is a great example of the original vehicle.
Its pewter metallic colouring and grey interior make this a beautiful car to look at as well as to drive. Since being with us at Bridge Classic Cars, it has had a full repaint and new decals fitted so it is looking just as it would have done when it first drove out of the factory.
With less than 90 000 miles on the clock, the car is ready to be taken back out onto the road for many more miles of driving and adventure.
We are giving you the opportunity to win our 1981 MGB GT LE so make sure you get your tickets for the draw now, as cars like this don’t tend to be available for very long.
