This 1985 Austin Metro 1.0L was recommissioned last autumn/winter after four years off the road. The front wings and valance were replaced, and the front end resprayed. The vendor’s view is that it would benefit from some further cosmetic improvement to the bottom of the passenger door and the rear valance. The glass is all original and shows the original registration, C104 JOE, which was removed in September 2013.

There’s an MoT valid until March 2023 for the Metro, which was registered in December 1985. The odometer shows 95,769 miles, which the vendor believes to be genuine but which is unwarranted.

The history folder includes the V5C, original handbook, radio instructions and the current MoT certificate plus ones from 1990, 1995‑2005, 2007 to 2011, 2013 and 2016. There’s a collection of bills including one for a new alternator in 2016 as well as a set of Hydragas suspension units in February of this year.
