Description

In the 1980s, if you wanted a performance car then some of the best were all-wheel drive. From the formidable Audi Quattro to some of the most exotic supercars of the decade, 4-wheel drive was king. Ford had begun its foray into the world of high-performance all-wheel drive cars with the legendary RS200 – initially planned to be its entry into the world stage of topflight rallying. Later, Ford began to introduce this system into its production cars.

Now, Bridge Classic Cars Competitions is giving you the chance to win one of these rally cars for the road with our 1989 Ford Sierra XR4x4.

Finished in striking red with contrasting black trims, our Sierra XR4x4 is fitted with the later 2.9-litre V6 and was earmarked to be one of the first breed of 4-wheel drive super saloons thanks to its 150BHP sent through a Ferguson developed all-wheel drive gearbox allowing for increased grip and handling.

The interior is original and in good condition, including its sunroof with retractable visor, apart from the addition of an aftermarket modern stereo and mobile phone microphone this family spec sports car is just as it left the factory.

A unique and seldom seen sight on UK roads, this is a rare opportunity to experience one of the best and rarest fast Fords out there today!

Enter now to win our 1989 Ford Sierra XR4x4.
