The car has been looked after by Aston Martin main dealers and specialists for the majority of its life. Most recently, the car was serviced by Aston Martin Cambridge as evidenced in its leather-bound manual.

The V8 Vantage gains its name from the hand built 4.3-litre naturally aspirated V8 which sits under its perfectly shaped bonnet, adorned with the cars engine build plate and the name of the highly skilled artisan who performed the final checks on its build, and gave it the Aston Martin seal of approval.

To bring a sense of open-road comfort and ease, the car was ordered with the 6-speed paddle-shift gearbox (partly developed by the team at Prodrive) making this car one of the first year Sportshift V8 Vantages.
